Dear Customers,
Congratulations to your purchase of a TeCom-PS.
Please read the manual carefully prior to your first use of the TeCom-
PS to learn about the various functions of your radio and to ensure
proper operation.
The TeCom-PS is available in these versions:
TeCom-PS PMR (item no. PR8059)
This PMR radio does not require a registration and no fees apply in
most european countries. For more details about the different coun-
tries’ regulations see the Declaration of Conformity.
The radio is programmed with 8 PMR frequencies (446 MHz), a max.
TX power of 500 mW and a bandwidth of 12.5 kHz.
Modification of the programmed frequencies, tx power or bandwidth is
not permitted.
TeCom-PS FreeNET (item no. PR8070)
This FreeNET radio is only for operation and sale in Germany. It does
not require a registration and no fees apply in Germany only.
The radio is programmed with 6 FreeNET frequencies (149 MHz), a
max. TX power of 500 mW and a bandwidth of 12.5 kHz.
Modification of the programmed frequencies, tx power or bandwidth is
not permitted.
TeCom-PS UHF-COM (item no. PR8060)
TeCom-PS VHF-COM (item no. PR8071)
This commercial radio needs to be registered in most european countries.
For more details about the different countries’ regulations see the
Declaration of Conformity.
The radio has 128 programmable channels. Only assigned frequencies in
the range of 440 - 470 MHz (UHF) or 136 - 174 MHz (VHF) and parame-
ters are allowed to be programmed; bandwidth 12.5 kHz or 25 kHz; tx
power max. 2 W.
The TeCom-PS can be programmed with the optional software T-UP16
or T-UP16 COM depending on the radio version. The set includes a
CD-ROM for Windows XP operating system and a USB data cable.
