UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)

This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp plug is

used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour coded:

blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.

The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.

The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.

The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (&

yellow).

ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM CLEANER

 Always remove the plug from the power socket before fitting or removing accessories.

 To fit the tube, insert it into the air intake duct.

 Then fit the tube to the nozzle or the selected brush.

 To remove tube and accessories, pull firmly apart.

OPERATION

 Insert the plug into the power socket and press on the 0/I switch.

 The floor brush is ideal for the daily cleaning of carpets and hard floors.

 The round brush is intended to clean curtains, shelves, books, inlaid furniture, lamps and other

delicate objects.

WHEN CLEANING IS FINISHED

 Stop the vacuum cleaner by pressing on the 0/I switch..

 Disconnect plug from electrical outlet.

DUST BAG AND FILTERS

Replacing the dust bag

 Always operate the cleaner with dust bag installed

 Disconnect from electrical outlet before changing dust bag.

 Raise dust cover.

 Remove bag collar from bag holder and pull out dust bag.

 Put in new dust bag and close the dust cover.

Motor Filter

 Filter should be rinsed clean at least three times a year or when it becomes visibly solid.

Air Filter

 Always operate the cleaner with filter installed, otherwise, reduced suction or motor damage

may result.

 Disconnect from electrical outlet, before changing filter.

 Pull filter supporter at the back of appliance upward, and replace filter.
