 Daarna, de stoffen die een gemiddelde temperatuur vragen, en ten slotte de stoffen die

een hoge temperatuur vragen.

 Indien de te strijken stof samengesteld is uit verschillende soorten weefsels, kies dan de

temperatuur voor het weefsel dat de laagste temperatuur vergt (bv. indien U een stof

dient te strijken dat 40 % polyester en 60 % katoen bevat, dient U de temperatuur te kiezen

voor polyester en zonder stoom.

 Indien U de samenstelling van het weefsel niet kent, neem dan een gedeelte dat niet

zichtbaar is wanneer U het kledingstuk draagt, en begin te strijken bij lage temperatuur

om deze langzaam te verhogen.

 De stoffen 100 % wol mogen met een strijkijzer op stoomstand gestreken worden. Het is

aanbevolen een stoomstoot te gebruiken en een droog stuk stof tussen het strijkijzer en de

wollen stof te leggen.

 Wanneer U met stoom strijkt, let er dan op dat het weefsel niet glanst. Dit kan vermeden

worden door het weefsel langs de omgekeerde zijde te strijken of door het plaatsen van

een licht vochtige doek.

 Fluweel en andere stoffen die vlug glanzen, zouden moeten gestreken worden in één

enkele richting (bij voorkeur in de richting van de vezels). Let erop een niet te sterke druk

te gebruiken en vermijd het strijkijzer op éénzelfde plaats te laten gedurende een zekere

tijd (zelfs een korte tijd).

 Strijk de binnenzijde van synthetische stoffen en zijde. Hier is het aangeraden geen stoom

te gebruiken daar deze vlekken zou kunnen veroorzaken (kringen).

VULLING VAN HET RESERVOIR (OM MET STOOM TE STRIJKEN)

 Zorg ervoor dat het toestel niet aan het stroomnet aangesloten is.

 Plaats de schakelaar van het waterreservoir (1) op de UIT-stand ("0").

 Plaats de basis van het toestel op een stabiel oppervlak en draai de schroefdop los zoals

pagina 4 aangeduid (als u water in het waterreservoir heeft gelaten met de gesloten

schroefdop, dan zal gedurende het volgende gebruik een lichte ontgassing gebeuren. Dit

is normaal en stelt geen gevaar voor).

 Vul het reservoir met maximum 0,75 liter water.

 U mag leidingwater gebruiken, maar het is ten sterkste aanbevolen gedistilleerd water te

gebruiken, zeker als het leidingwater veel kalk bevat.

 Nooit azijn, een ontkalkingmiddel of een ander chemisch product gebruiken.

 Het reservoir met de schroefdop goed sluiten (Zie pagina 4).

BEVINDT. ZUIVER HET WATERRESERVOIR BIJ HET DRUKKEN OP DE STOOMSTOOTKNOP (8) TOT ER

GEEN STOOM MEER UIT DE BASIS EN HET STRIJKIJZER KOMT. SCHAKEL HET WATERRESERVOIR EN

HET STRIJKIIJZER UIT (SCHAKELAAR (1) OP DE UIT-STAND ("0"), THERMOSTAATKNOP (4) OP MIN) EN

TREK DE STEKKER UIT HET STOPCONTACT. SCHROEF DE DOP VOORZICHTIG LOS OM NA TE GAAN

OF ER GEEN STOOM MEER IS EN DRAAI DAN SCHROEFDOP ER VOLLEDIG AF. LAAT HET

WATERRESERVOIR ENKELE MINUTEN AFKOELEN EN VUL OPNIEUW. OPGEPAST: ALS U HET

WATERRESERVOIR TE VROEG VULT, KAN STOOM OF WARM WATER UIT DE OPENING

ONTSNAPPEN. VUL HET WATERRESERVOIR LANGZAAM, VOORAL IN HET BEGIN. SLUIT TENSLOTTE

HET WATERRESERVOIR MET DE SCHROEFDOP. NU IS UW TOESTEL OPNIEUW GEBRUIKSKLAAR.
