Zorg ervoor dat het water zich altijd tussen het minimum- en het maximumpeil bevindt.
EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig.
Verwijder alle verpakkingsmateriaal en etiketten van de theezakjes.
Wanneer u het toestel voor de eerste keer gebruikt, giet vooreerst water in de glazen kan
(zonder thee) en schakel het toestel in. Herhaal deze handeling nogmaals om het toestel
goed te spoelen.
GEBRUIK
Open het deksel (4) en verwijder de waterverdeelplaat en de filterkorf door aan de
stijgbuis te trekken.
Vul de glazen kan (6) met de gewenste hoeveelheid water. Het minimum- en
maximumpeil zijn op de galzen kan aangeduid. Let erop dat het waterpeil zich tussen het
maximum- en minimumpeil bevindt en dat u geen water morst op de buitenkant van het
toestel, vooral niet op het aansluitingspunt van het snoer die trouwens door een dichting
beschermd is.
Vul de filterkorf met de gewenste hoeveelheid thee of theezakjes. Overschrijd de
maximumaanduiding van de filterkorf niet. De hoeveelheid thee hangt van uw smaak en
de gewenste sterkte af. Volgende tabel helpt u de hoeveelheid te doseren (voor 1 liter).

Plaats de waterverdeelplaat weer op de filterkorf en sluit het deksel. Zorg ervoor dat de
stijgbuis in de daartoe voorziene opening in het verwarmingselement past, en dat de
waterverdeelplaat en de filterkorf goed in elkaar steken.
Steek de stekker in het toestel en het andere uiteinde van het snoer in het stopcontact.
Het controlelampje gaan branden. De thee zal na ongeveer 7 à 12 minuten klaar zijn.
Wanneer het brouwproces voorbij is, gaat het controlelampje uit.
Haal de stekker steeds uit het stopcontact vooraleer u de drank uitschenkt. U kunt de
stekker daarna weer in het stopcontact steken indien er meer dan het minimumniveau in
de kan overblijft.
Indien u de drank niet meteen consumeert, zal het brouwproces zich nu en dan weer
aanschakelen om de drank warm te houden. Denk erom dat er hierbij wat drank zal
verdampen, en dat de drank sterker en sterker wordt.
Uw theebereider is met een veiligheidssysteem uitgerust dat het toestel zal uitschakelen
indien het per ongeluk zonder water wordt aangeschakeld. Indien dit gebeurt, trek de
stekker uit het stopcontact, laat het toestel afkoelen en steek daarna de stekker weer in
het stopcontact.
