IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Your vacuum brush requires a certain amount of maintenance if it is to function properly. The
following points should therefore be observed:
Do not vacuum on any wet surfaces and never vacuum any kind of liquid (especially
flammable one) with this appliance.
When you decide to throw away the appliance, make sure to remove the batteries and
to dispose of them in an ecological manner.
Do not use your vacuum cleaner to remove glowing particles that can cause fire.
Do not use batteries.
If an accumulator leaks, protect your hands to remove it and wipe the residues on the
appliance (particularly the contacts).
Use only original charger designed for the model.
Recharge your vacuum cleaner after use.
MAINTAINANCE
Cleaning the dust filter and dust container:
Detach the dust container from the motor unit by pressing down the release button on the
bottom of nozzle (above a dust bin).
Empty the dust container.
To clean the filter you can use your ordinary vacuum cleaner or you can shake it or if
necessary, wash the filter in lukewarm soapy water. In the last case rinse it afterwards with
clear water and make sure that the filter is completely dry before re-inserting it in position.
Don’t forget to put the filter in position after removing it for cleaning.
Damaged or very dirty filter should be replaced. Therefore ask to the nearest after sale
service
REMOVING THE ACCUMULATOR (see Figure 3)
In order to obtain another accumulator go exclusively to the nearest after sale service. Do not
use other models.
1. Unplug the charger from the power supply if you don’t use the wall bracket or take
the appliance from it.
2. Open the accumulator door removing the screw at the top of the handle (see here
below).
3. Pull out the batteries and then unscrew both plastic caps from the threads.
4. Dispose of the batteries in an ecological manner by handing them in at a place
destined to this end.
5. Replace the accumulator by an identical one and respect the polarity (wire + of the
accumulator with wire + of the appliance, the same for the wire -)
6. Then close the accumulator door.
