BEFORE USE
When using the appliance for the first time, clean the inner part as described in the CLEANING
section and check that the ventilation grids in the back of the appliance are not obstructed.
INSTALLATION
Stand the appliance on a stable surface. Let a free space of at least 10 cm between the back
of the appliance and any other object that could disturb proper ventilation. Non-observance
of this instruction could disturb the correct operation of the appliance and even damage it.
FEATURES
Capacity:15 litres
Voltage: 12 Vdc or 230Vac
Maximum ac power: 45W (cold) / 40W (hot)
Maximum dc power: 35W (cold) / 30W (hot)
Minimum temperature in "high cold" position: 8°C +/-3° based on a room temperature of 25°C
Average temperature in "low cold" temperature: 16°C +/-3°C based on a room temperature of
25°C.
Maximum temperature in "hot" position: 55°C +/-3°C based on a room temperature of 10°C.
OPERATION
Put the function selector in the desired position (see features).
Put the power cord in the adequate power socket: normal wall socket for 230Vac and
your car's cigarette lighter for 12Vdc.
Never plug in both power cords simultaneously. When operating the appliance with
12Vdc, keep the motor of your car running in order not to discharge the battery.
According to the function you selected, the "cold" or "hot" pilot light will come on, both to
indicate the function you've chosen and to indicate that the appliance is operating.
With 230Vac, it will take about 1 hour to obtain a stable temperature (compartment
empty and closed door).
To open the door, press the door lock and pull.
Inside the cooler you will find a rack that you can either keep or remove according to the
size of the items you want to cool.
There is also a removable compartment against the door.
When the appliance is in "high cold" position, avoid putting hot items in it.
Important: when you want to switch from "hot" position to "high cold" (and vice versa), leave
your appliance switched off for at least 15 minutes.
PRACTICAL HINTS
In order to increase the efficiency of your appliance no matter which function is selected,
we advise you to operate it empty for 1 hour before filling it. This is even more important if
you carry the appliance in the car, connected to the cigarette lighter during the ride.
The average temperature marked with "low cold" allows you to bring wine up to room
temperature but of course you can also use this function in other circumstances.
