and folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm
width x 210 mm height). When folding, make sure you
keep the good numbering when you turn the pages of

Vul het apparaat met water en steek de stekker in het stopcontact (zet de stoomregelaar
op ).
Draai de thermostaatknop in wijzerzin totdat u het teken dat overeenkomt met uw stof
terugvindt.
Draai daarna de stoomknop tussen en voor normale stoom of op voor
veel stoom.
Plaats het strijkijzer verticaal totdat het lichtje uitgaat.
! Draai de thermostaat op stoomstand (zie tabel). Als u stoom gebruikt op een te lage
temperatuur, dan kan het strijkijzer lekken.
Controleer ook het etiket van de stof. Sommige stoffen mogen niet in contact komen met
stoom of met water.
SPRAYEN
Dit vergemakkelijkt het strijken van dikkere stoffen en moeilijk te strijken plaatsen.
De sprayknop kan op elk gewenst moment gebruikt worden, ongeacht de stand waarop
het strijkijzer ingesteld staat.
! Sommige textielsoorten kunnen beschadigd worden bij contact met water of stoom.
Controleer het etiket wanneer u twijfelt.
ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING
Nadat u het strijkijzer langdurig en regelmatig gebruikt hebt (minimum een keer per maand) is
het noodzakelijk het als volgt schoon te maken:
Vul het waterreservoir tot in de helft en plaats het strijkijzer op zijn hiel.
Warm het strijkijzer op zijn hoogste temperatuur op totdat het controlelampje uitgaat.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact, draai de stoomregelaar naar de zelfreinigingsstand
, schud het strijkijzer horizontaal naar links en rechts boven een wasbak. Warm water
en stoom zullen uit de strijkzool ontsnappen. Zo worden alle stofrestjes verwijderd.
Zodra het waterreservoir leeg is, draai de stoomregelaar naar stand .
Giet water in het waterreservoir, warm het toestel opnieuw op en strijk op een oude maar
propere katoenen doek. Het water dat nog in de strijkzool overbleef, zal nu verdampen
en zo bijdragen tot de reiniging van het toestel.
Reinig de buitenkant van het strijkijzer met een licht vochtige doek.
OPBERGEN
Zet hiervoor de thermostaat op stand "MIN" en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Alvorens het toestel op te bergen, maakt u best het waterreservoir leeg. Keer het toestel
ondersteboven met de strijkzool van u weg.
Plaats daarna het strijkijzer verticaal en laat het resterende water verdampen.
