The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities of food, which have to
be consumed rather quickly. It is not designed for the preparation of large quantities at
once.
Do not touch the blades while the appliance is operating and do not try to block their
movement in any way.
Do not use the appliance without any food in it.

person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This appliance is not intended for professional use. You should follow the requested breaks.
Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please refer to the
rating label for the maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min where xx is the maximum usage
time). The breaks should last at least 10 minutes.
ATTENTION!
Your appliance is fitted with a security device on the pouring jug allowing the functioning of
the appliance only when the jug and its lid are correctly placed on the motor base. If those
conditions are met and the appliance does not start, call your after-sales service.
MOUNTING OF THE BLENDER AND USE
Assemble the pouring jug on the motor block. You should place the symbol on the
pouring jug in front of the opened padlock on the motor unit and then screw the
pouring jug to the motor unit, so that the closed padlock ends up in front of the symbol
. To check if it has been done correctly, it should be possible to raise the motor block
with the handle of the pouring jug.
Fill the pouring jug with the chosen ingredients.
Put the lid on the pouring jug. Close the feeding hole of the lid with the cap. Make sure
the two small lugs of the cap enter into the two small slots of the lid and turn the cap
clockwise to lock it into place.
Plug in the appliance.
Select the speed that is most suitable for the ingredients you want to process.
The button "P" allows a manual operation because you have to keep pushing it when
functioning. This position is generally used to crush ice.
Press button 1 or button 2 (minimal speed) for mainly liquid ingredients.
Press button 3 (medium speed) for combinations of liquid and solid ingredients.
Press button 4 or button 5 (maximum speed) for mainly solid ingredients.
It is also possible to add liquids or other ingredients anytime without stopping the
appliance. You only have to remove the stopper, which closes the lid opening, by turning
it anticlockwise and raising it straight up.
Once you have finished the preparation, stop the appliance (button OFF) and unplug the
appliance.
Unscrew the pouring jug. The symbol on the pouring jug should end up in front of the
opened padlock on the motor unit.
Remove the lid. Now you can serve the mixture.
Caution: your appliance is not designed to mix hot preparations and the glass bowl could
break otherwise. If nevertheless you wish to prepare hot drinks or soups, let the whole cool
down to a temperature lower than about 60°C (tepid preparation) before pouring it into
the glass bowl. In case the lid would come up in spite of the precautions mentioned in
