RDS
RDS (Radio Data Systeem) is een zenderservice waarbij u
naast een normaal radioprogramma ook nog extra
informatie kunt ontvangen.
De RDS-zenderservice is alleen in Europa en bij FM-
ontvangst beschikbaar.
Stem af op de frequentie van een FM RDS-
radiozender (zie pag. 99).
De RDS-indicator brandt en de naam van de
programmaservice (zendernaam) wordt in het display
weergegeven.
Druk op de RDS-toets.
Iedere keer dat u op de RDS-toets drukt verandert de
RDS-instelling als volgt:
PS (Programma Service (naam))
Als u PS selecteert dan wordt 3 seconden de
ontvangstfrequentie en daarna PS ( de zendernaam)
in het display weergegeven. Als er geen PS-data
beschikbaar is verschijnt “NO PS” in het display.
PTY (Programmatype)
Als u PTY selecteert dan wordt het programmatype
weergegeven. De PTY-indicator in het display is
verlicht. Als er geen PTY-data beschikbaar is wordt
“NO PTY” weergegeven.
RT (Radiotekst)
Als u RT selecteert wordt zendernieuws,
samengesteld uit maximaal 64 symbolen,
weergegeven. De RT-indicator in het display is
verlicht. Als er geen RT-data beschikbaar is wordt
“NO TEXT” weergegeven.

Kloktijd (CT)
De klok wordt automatisch ingesteld overeenkomstig
de CT-gegevens.
Als u op een RDS-zender hebt afgestemd die de
verkeerde CT-gegevens uitzendt, is het mogelijk dat
de klok verkeerd wordt ingesteld waardoor de timer
niet juist werkt.
Het apparaat ontvangt de CT-gegevens en stelt de
klok in, ongeacht welke RDS-functie is gekozen.
Om de CT-functie aan of uit te zetten, houdt u de
RDS toets langer dan 3 seconden ingedrukt en
drukt dan op de SKIP toets (. / /) om aan
of uit te kiezen.
Met deze functie kunt u direct een radiozender zoeken
die RDS ondersteunt.
Druk op de BAND toets om FM te kiezen.
Druk enkele malen op de PTY toets om het
gewenste PTY-programma te kiezen.
Draai binnen 5 seconden aan de TUNING knop.
Het zoekproces wordt gestart.
< Als een radiozender met het geselecteerde
programmatype gevonden wordt dan stopt het
zoeken en het programmatype wordt in het display
weergegeven.
< Als tijdens PTY-zoeken het geselecteerde
programmatype niet gevonden wordt stopt het
zoeken en de voorheen ingestelde
ontvangstfrequentie verschijnt in het display.
< Druk op de FM MODE-toets om PTY-zoeken te
beëindigen.
