RDS
El sistema de datos por radio (RDS) es un servicio que permite a las
emisoras enviar información adicional junto con la señal habitual del
programa de radio.
RDS funciona en la banda FM únicamente en Europa.

Sintonice una emisora de FM (consulte los pasos

la página 98).

Pulse el botón RDS.
Cada vez que pulse el botón RDS, el modo RDS cambiará de la
siguiente manera:
PS (nombre del servicio de programación)
Cuando seleccione PS, “PS” parpadeará durante 4 segundos y
después aparecerá el nombre de la emisora o del PS. Si no hay
datos PS, se visualizará la frecuencia.
PTY (tipo de programa)
Cuando seleccione PTY, “PTY” parpadeará durante 4 segundos y
después se visualizará el tipo de programa.
RT (radiotexto)
Cuando seleccione RT, “RT” parpadeará durante 4 segundos y
después se visualizarán las noticias de las emisoras utilizando
hasta 64 símbolos.
Si no hay datos de CT/PTY/RT, el modo RDS cambiará al
modo PS automáticamente.
El reloj de la unidad se sincronizará automáticamente con los
datos CT recibidos. Si sintoniza una emisora RDS que transmite
datos CT incorrectos, el reloj podría ponerse mal en hora y
afectar a la programación del temporizador.
Sea cual sea el modo RDS seleccionado, la unidad recibirá los
datos CT y sincronizará el reloj.
Mantenga pulsado el botón RDS MODE más de 10
segundos para activar o desactivar el modo CT.

Seleccione FM con el botón FM/AM.

Pulse el botón PTY.
“PTY SEL” aparecerá en la pantalla.

Seleccione el programa PTY deseado usando el botón de
salto (. / /).
Se pueden seleccionar 31 tipos de programa.

Pulse el botón PTY.
Se iniciará la búsqueda.
Cuando se localiza el programa seleccionado, la búsqueda se
interrumpe y el tipo de programa se visualiza en la pantalla.
Si no se encuentra el mismo tipo de programa durante la
búsqueda PTY, se detendrá en la frecuencia inicial.
Si desea detener la búsqueda, pulse el botón PTY.
