I've been Trying to power on my TC Helicon E1 Voicetone and : 3406

I've been Trying to power on my TC Helicon E1 Voicetone and it just will not turn on. (The light button won't come at all). I have the power 12V adapter plugged into it and my micro phone
plugged into it also. Then I have the box plugged into the speaker. Maybe I have it hooked up wrong. Please, any advice and suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you
