acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive
products, for cleaning the appliance.
- Do not submerge the appliance in water or
any other liquid, or place it under a running
tap.
- During the cleaning process, take special
care with the blades, as they are very sharp.
- Clean the blades and the comb guides with
the cleaning brush. Remove the hairs form
the blades and from within the appliance
using the brush. It is important to clean off all
the hairs after each use.
- If the appliance is not in good condition of
cleanliness, its surface may degrade and in-
exorably affect the duration of the appliance’s
useful life and could become unsafe to use.
Blade alignment
- The blades must be readjusted each time
they are removed, whether it is for cleaning or
to exchanged for others.
- To readjust the blades you simply have to
check the precision of the upper and lower
blades until they are in the most minimal posi-
tion, a distance of 1.2mm.
- If the alignment of the blades is incorrect,
you must apply a few drops of oil and turn on
the appliance for a moment. After unplugging
the appliance, loosen the lower screws so as
to align the blades well and then tighten the
screws again.
Greasing the blades
- To maintain the appliance in good condition,
the blades must be greased with oil regularly
after every use.
Anomalies and repair
- Take the appliance to an authorised techni-
cal support service if problems arise. Do not
try to dismantle or repair without assistance,
as this may be dangerous.
- If the connection to the mains has been
damaged, it must be replaced and you should
proceed as you would in the case of damage.
Ecology and recyclability of the product
- The materials of which the packaging of
this appliance consists are included in a
collection, classification and recycling system.
Should you wish to dispose of them, use the
appropriate public containers for each type
of material.

of substances that could be considered harm-
ful to the environment.
