Nu komt u in de groep voor de tv-ontvangst. Hier staan verschillende functies ter
beschikking. Met de knop Live-tv schakelt u onmiddellijk naar het huidige
tv-programma. Daarbij wordt automatisch de laatst gekozen zender
geselecteerd. De optie Opnames maakt de opname en het afspelen van
uitzendingen mogelijk. De knop TV-programma opent een elektronische tv-gids
en de optie Zoeken maakt het mogelijk
de zenders te doorzoeken naar
interessante programma’s.

Om het huidige tv-programma te bekijken, selecteert u de optie Live-TV. Het
Media Center zal nu de tv-ontvangst activeren en toont de laatst bekeken zender.
Via het bedieningsveld onderaan rechts kunt u het televisieprogramma sturen.
Met de plus- en minknoppen van de kanaalknop (+ / -) kunt u tussen de
programma’s schakelen. Als u een interessante uitzending gevonden hebt, hoeft
u verder niets te doen. Na een paar seconden wordt het bedieningsveld
automatisch verwijderd, zodat u vrij zicht op het programma hebt. Via de
knoppen bovenaan rechts in de titellijst kunt u ook tussen de volledige
beeldmodus en de venstermodus wisselen.

Het Media Center beschikt over een zogenaamde Timeshift-functie. Het slaat
dan het huidige tv-programma voor een bepaalde periode onzichtbaar op de
achtergrond op. Dit laat u toe het programma via de voor- en terugknoppen in
het bedieningsveld later te bekijken. U kunt bijvoorbeeld terugspoelen om een
interessant bericht nogmaals te bekijken of als u het begin van een film gemist
hebt.
