Aansluitingen (vervolg)
Aansluiting van optionele apparatuur
Aansluiting op een versterker die met twee analoge
stereokanalen of Dolby Pro Logic II/Pro Logic is
uitgerust
Verbind de linker- en de rechterbus van de AUDIO-
uitgang van de DVD-speler met de linker- en de
rechterbus van de AUDIO-ingang op uw versterker, ont-
vanger of stereosysteem door middel van een audioka-
bels.
Aansluiting op een versterker die met twee digitale
stereokanalen (PCM) is uitgerust of op een Audio/
Video-ontvanger met een multi-kanaal decoder (Dolby
Digital™, MPEG 2 of DTS)
1. Verbind de DIGITAL AUDIO OUT-aansluiting (coax)
van de DVD-speler met de overeenkomstige ingang
van de versterker. Gebruik hiervoor een optionele
digitale (coax)audiokabel.
2. U zult de digitale uitgang van de DVD-speler moeten
activeren. (Zie "Digitale Audio-uitgang" op pagina 18).
Digitale multi-kanaal audioweergave
Een digitale multi-kanaalverbinding geeft de beste
klankkwaliteit. Hiervoor heeft u een multi-kanaal
audio/video-ontvanger nodig die één of meer audiofor-
maten ondersteunt die ook door uw DVD-speler worden
ondersteund (MPEG 2, Dolby Digital en DTS).
Raadpleeg de handleiding van uw ontvanger en kijk
naar de logo’s op de voorzijde van de ontvanger.
Waarschuwing:
Krachtens de DTS-licentieovereenkomst zal de digitale
uitgang in DTS digitale uitgang worden weergegeven
als de DTS-audiostroom is geselecteerd.
Opmerkingen:
Als het audioformaat van de digitale uitgang niet met
de mogelijkheden van uw ontvanger overeenstemt,
zal de ontvanger een sterk vervormd, of helemaal
geen geluid voortbrengen.
Om het audioformaat van de huidige DVD op het
scherm te bekijken (On-Screen Display), drukt u op
AUDIO.
