Timer function
Set-up (and use) is only possible if plug-in thermostat is switched on by the „ “ key
and the temperature is displayed in the lower row.
Selecting operating mode
Refer to the corresponding chapter of these operating instructions.
Switching the timer on/off
In order to switch the timer on or off, briey press the „P“ key.
Once the timer is switched on, the symbol „
“ will appear on the display bottom left, and
the timer time bottom right.
Setting timer time and temperature limit
Switch on the timer rst as described above.
Hold the „P“ key for approx. 3 seconds until the timer time starts ashing.
Set the timer time using the „+“ or „-“ key (1....99 hours). For quick adjustment, press and hold
down the corresponding key for longer.
Briey press the „P“ button. The temperature limit value will ash.
Use the „+“ or „-“ key to set the temperature limit value. For quick adjustment, press and hold
down the corresponding key for longer.
In order to quit the set-up mode, briey press the „P“ key. Alternatively, wait for about 10 sec-
onds, without pressing any key. The timer time will stop ashing.
Function of the timer
Example:
The room temperature is e.g. 19 °C and you set the temperature of 25 °C and duration of
5 hours via the timer.
After the start of the timer, the thermostat will control the connected appliance according to the
measured room temperature for the next 5 hours.
Timer operation can be paused and resumed by the „
“ key.
If the timer functions should be terminated, switch off the timer by the „P“ key as described
above.
After expiry of the timer time, the plug-in thermostat will turn off the connected appli-
ance.
If the plug-in thermostat should operate in normal mode after that, switch the ther-
mostat („OFF“ will appear on display) off and on again.
Resetting the plug-in thermostat
To reset the plug-in thermostat to factory settings, press briey the recessed „Reset“ key (on
the right below the „ “ key) e.g. by a toothpick.
Function Factory settings
„COOL“ = cool mode 25 °C
„HEAT“ = heat mode 20 °C
Timer 2 hours
Heating Mode: 16 °C
Cooling Mode: 28 °C
Care and Cleaning
Before cleaning the product, disconnect the appliance from the plug-in thermostat. Disconnect
then the plug-in thermostat from power supply by pulling it out of the mains socket.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household
waste. Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
