La funzione standard internazionale GAP
1
consente l’integrazione sia di unità portatili SWITEL sia di unità
portatili di altri costruttori nel sistema telefonico preesistente. Allo stesso modo è possibile selezionare unità
portatili SWITEL per stazioni base di altri costruttori, a condizione che gli apparecchi dispongano della fun-
zione GAP standard.
Per deselezionare un’unità portatile da una stazione base è in ogni caso necessario servirsi di un
altra unità portatile registrata presso la stazione base in questione. Volendo registrare le unità por-
tatili presso una nuova stazione base bisogna prima deselezionare queste unità portatili dalla vec-
chia stazione base ovvero dalla stazione base dove attualmente risultano ancora registrati.
Registrazione di unità portatili
E’ possibile registrare 5 unità portatili presso la stazione base. Una volta eseguita la selezione, all’unità por-
tatile è assegnato un numero di chiamata interno. Questo numero di chiamata interno è visualizzato sul di-
splay.

Per selezionare la modalità di registrazione presso la stazione base di un altro costruttore, seguire le indi-
cazioni riportate nel manuale di istruzioni per l’uso del rispettivo costruttore. Immettere per la selezione il
codice PIN dell’altro costruttore

5 sec Passare con la stazione base alla modalità di registrazione
Per registrare l’unità portatile seguire le indicazioni riportate nelle istruzioni per l’uso dell’altro costruttore.
Immettere per la registrazione il codice PIN attualmente impostato (impostazione di default: 0000).
Maggior numero di stazioni base
E’ possibile registrare le proprie unità portatili presso 4 stazioni base diverse. La funzione è disponibile
presso stazioni base del tipo DFT707 come anche presso stazioni base di altri costruttori a condizione che
questi apparecchi operino sulla base dello standard GAP

. Per ogni stazione base è inoltre necessario pre-
vedere una presa telefonica autonoma. Le stazioni base possono essere collegate sia a prese telefoniche
aventi lo stesso numero di chiamata sia ad allacciamenti con numeri di chiamata differenti.
Mobilità grazie a luoghi di ubicazione differenti
Per fare ciò è sufficiente registrare l’unità portatile in uso in ubicazioni diverse presso stazioni base diffe-
renti. Avendo precedentemente selezionato infatti la funzione "selezione automatica", l’unità portatile si re-
gistra automaticamente presso la stazione base più vicina. pagina 60
Aumento della portata
Posizionare le diverse stazioni base in modo da ottenere una transizione della portata delle singole stazioni
base. Verificare se necessario la portata delle unità portatili utilizzate. Eventuali ostacoli presenti all’interno
degli edifici possono notevolmente limitare la portata.
Per chiamate in corso non è invece possibile compiere un trasferimento da una stazione base all’al-
tra.
