Internal calls

If several handsets are registered on the base station, internal calls can be made between
them free of charge.
1. Press the E button.
2. Enter the number of the handset to be contacted (1...5).
3. Complete the call.
4. Press the B button to end the call.
External phone calls
There are two methods by which to dial phone numbers, namely direct dialling and indirect dial-
ling.
Direct dialling
1. Press the A button and wait for the dialling tone.
2. Dial the phone number.
3. Complete the call.
4. Press the B button to end the call.
Indirect dialling
1. Dial the phone number.
2. Delete any incorrect digits using the C button.
3. Press the A button. The phone number is dialled and a connection established.
4. Complete the call.
5. Press the B button to end the call.
Holding a call / brokering
While a call is in progress, it is possible to dial another handset in order to consult with some-
one. The external caller is put on hold while you converse with the second, internal person cal-
led. You can repeat this procedure as often as required.
1. Press the O button to initiate the enquiry call. The line is put on hold.
2. Dial the number of the subscriber’s extension you require (e.g. 22).
3. Press the O again to take the call back; or press the B button to forward the call
to the extension dialled.
The above information could vary according to the PABX system used. Please read
the information provided in the manuals supplied with your PABX system.
Making conference calls
An external call can be transferred to another internal handset for a conference call.
1. While making an external call, press the E button. The external caller is put on hold.
2. Enter the number of the handset required. The handset is dialled.
3. When the handset dialled answers, press and hold the E button for 2 seconds to
enable the Conference Call mode.
4. Any handset can quit the conference call by pressing the B button. The call is
continued on the other handset.
Setting the receiver volume
The receiver volume as well as the loudspeaker volume for Handsfree mode can be adjusted to
one of 5 levels.
To adjust the receiver volume while making a call, press the L button several times, as ap-
propriate.
