12.3 Conference calls
An external call can be transferred to another internal handset for a conference call. This enables
two handset users to confer with the external caller at the same time.
 HS 1: Establish a connection to the external subscriber

HS 1: Connection is established to the other handset
HS 2: The internal call is taken
HS 1: Connects all calls to a joint conference
During a conference call, press the 0 button to put the external caller on hold. Press
the 0, buttons in succession to activate the conference facility again.
HS 1 or HS 2: Press the button to end the conference call.
12.4 Registering and deregistering handsets
12.4.1 Registering more DCT427 handsets
3 sec Initiate the registration facility by pressing the Paging
button on the base station
After pressing the Paging button, the handset registration process must be completed
within the following 90 seconds:

, Enter the number of the base station (1 to 4) and confirm
the input
If the handset is already connected to a base station, the corresponding number flas-
hes.
A search is then made for the base station.
When the base station is found, proceed as follows:
, Enter the PIN (default setting: 0000) and confirm the input

The handset is then registered.
The handset is assigned an internal call number. The handset already registered has
the internal call number 1. The second handset registered is assigned the internal call
number 2. The internal call number appears in the right of the display when in Standby
mode.
12.4.2 Registering DECT−GAP handsets from other manufacturers
In order to register a DECT−GAP handset from another manufacturer, follow the instructions in the
operating manual provided by the original manufacturer and then press the Paging button
on your base station for 3 seconds. Use the PIN to register (default setting: 0000).
12.4.3 Deregistering handsets
A handset can only be deregistered by another handset still registered. It is not possible to com-
plete the deregistration using the handset which is to be deregistered.
