5. When deregistration is completed successfully, the message NOT REG appears

in the d isplay of the deregistered handset. The handset is, thus, deregistered

and can no longer be used f or e xternal and internal calls.

12.2 Internal calls (intercom function)

As soon as two handsets are registered on a base station, they can be u sed for internal

calls.

1. Press the

/ button.

2. Press the number of the r equired handset.

3. The call can be taken by pressing the Call but ton ! on the handset called.

Note: S hort a coustic signals are issued if an external call is received during an

internal call.

4. End the internal call by pressing the

! button and t ake the external call by

pressing the

! button on one of the handsets.

12.3 Transferring external calls to another handset

If you have taken an external call on a handset, the call can b e transferred to another

handset.

To do th is, p ress the

/ button and then ent er the number of the handset to be called.

Note: I f the handset called does not answer, take the call back by pressing the

/ button.

After the internal call has been taken by the handset called, the following opt ions are

available:

1. Consultation / Brokering: You can talk to the party using the other handset

and then return to the e xternal caller by pressing the

/ button. You can

switch between the external and internal parties as often as necessary.

2. Transfer call:Pressthe

! button on t he first handset to t ransfer the external

call to the handset called.
