5. Scenes
Creat e scenes to fully use your SH 140 in your home.
A scene is a way t o contr ol connected devices simul-
taneously with only a touch of a buon fr om your
smartphone for dened occ asion. For ex ample, set
“
Leave Home
” to turn o the lights in mulple places.
Note! Scenes can only be creat ed if you’ re signed in
to your KAFO acc ount and have at least one devic e
connected.

7. Voice control integration
In the KAFO app you can nd brie f instrucons on how to
integr ate y our swisstone smart devices with v oice contr ol
services like, Amaz on Echo (Ale xa) or Google Home in
Prole

. Find more inf ormaon and contr ol words online
for y our chosen service.
Note! If you have already created groups and/ or scenes in
the app, you might not be able to use them with Amaz on
Echo (Ale xa) or Google Home. It is only possible to group
devices with the respecve service, sc enes are not possible.
8. Reset
A reset of the device c an help you troubleshoot an y issues
that you ma y have. Please k eep in mind that a factory rese t
will erase all of your cus tom sengs and res tore them t o
factory de fault sengs.
Reset the SH 140 by pr essing and holding the buon ! for
10 seconds unl it blinks quickly .
Aer the rese t, the SH 140 will enter pairing mode.
9. Electronic overload protection
In the event of ov erloading of the mulple socke t strip,
the electronic overload pr otecon will trigger on the
housing next to the cable en try .
In this case, remov e the connected device causing the
overload and allow the power s trip to cool down f or
sever al minutes.
Then press the black rese t buon of the electronic
overload prot econ in order to put the mulple pow er
strip back into oper aon.

disconnect device betw een the product and mains power . The mains sock et
outlet must be close to the equipmen t and easily accessible.

• Do not k eep the unit in warm places. High temperatur es can reduce the
lifespan for electronic equipmen t and distort or melt certain plascs.
• Do not k eep the unit in cold places. When the unit warms up to normal
temperatur e, condensa on can form on the inside which can damag e the
electronic circuits.
• Do not dr op the unit. Do not knock or shak e it either . If it is treated roughly
the circuits and precision mechanics can be brok en.
• Do not use strong chemicals t o clean the unit.
• Do not use the pr oduct in areas wher e the use of electronic de vices is not
permied.
• Do not modify the product in any wa y . Doing so voids the warran ty .
• Do not a empt to disassemble, repair , or modify the device.
• The product may only be operated with the type of power supply network
described on the name plate.
• Only connect the product to a sock et that has been approved for the device.
The sock et mus t be installed close to the pr oduct and easily accessible.
• Never connect mulple units of this product in series.
• Do not oper ate the product outside the power limits given in the specica-
ons.
• Do not use any heat-g enerang devices (such as electric blanke ts, co ee machines,
etc.) with this product. Ther e is a risk of re and injury .
• Do not use this pr oduct with any de vices that are mot orised or any devices that have
a rot ang c omponent or workpiece. Ther e is a risk of injury .
• Do not open the pr oduct. Do not connue to operate the product if it is damaged,
which ma y be indicated by smok e, odour or loud noises.
If the unit is not working as it should, please contact the place of pur chase for
service. Don’t forget the r eceipt or a copy of the inv oice.
