Selecting the type of battery
The Swissphone DE920/DE940 receiver automatically identifies whether an alkaline battery or a
re-chargeable battery is installed.
The type of re-chargeable battery installed (NiHM or NiCd) can be configured there (not applica-
ble to DE920 Ex). On rare occasions, it may happen that a battery, which has already been used is
identified as a re-chargeable battery when it is installed, or the other way round. In such cases,
you can overwrite the automatic identification of the re-chargeable battery. Please ensure that the
type of re-chargeable battery installed corresponds to the setting in the device. This ensures opti-
mal indication of the battery charge level.

– With the scroll key, select the “Battery” menu
– Press the confirmation key
– With the scroll key, select between “Alkaline”, “NiMH” and “NiCd”
– Press the confirmation key
