We recommend that you release the steam gradually when the indicator is on and no longer
flashing. The pressure is much lower at this moment.
11. Turn the pressure relief valve to the exhaust vent position to release steam and wait for the float
valve to drop down (see figure 10a&10b)
Warning: Make sure to wear oven mitts when releasing the valve. This is to prevent burns from
the escaping hot steam.
12. Unplug the power cord.
13. Remove the lid: Hold the handle and turn it clockwise until the lid is in the unclamped position and
remove the lid (see figure D1&D2) .
14. The food is now ready to serve. Use wooden or plastic utensils when serving to avoid scratching
the non-stick surface of the bowl.
Cleaning
Unplug the power cord before cleaning.
Wipe the bottom of the pressure cooker with a sponge or cloth. Never spray water on the electric
pressure cooker or submerge it in water.
Remove and clean the water collector and wash it with warm soapy water.
Clean the inside of the pressure cooker including the sealing ring, pressure relief valve, anti-
blocking housing, steam relief line and float valve with warm soapy water.
Use a non-metallic sponge or a soft cloth to clean the inner pot.
Clean the seal of the pressure-limiting vent valve and the water drain hole with a small brush so
that the water can drain freely.
Precautions
1. Never use the cooker with inflammable products or in a humid environment.
2. The volume of water to be placed in the inner pot should be determined by reading step 2 of the
directions.
3. Never damage the sealing ring or replace it with another rubber ring or tension ring.
4. Never repair the inner ring by hand or other tools. If the ring does not slide into place, stop using
the pressure cooker until it has been replaced.
5. The anti-blocking housing must be cleaned regularly.
6. Never try to remove the cover when the float valve is going up and down.
7. Do not apply pressure to the pressure relief valve or replace it with other materials.
8. Never block the edge of the clamping position to ensure safety.
