CALLING NUMBER IDENTIFICATION
(CLIP)
Your telephone supports the "calling
number identification" feature*) on ana-
logue dial-up connections. Before you can
use the CLIP display, you need to apply for
subscriber number forwarding from your
telephone company, unless it is already pro-
vided.
Once it is activated, the CLIP indication is
provided automatically on the handset dis-
play after the first ringing signal.
The subscriber number cannot be displayed
if
• if the subscriber number information
is not available at the exchange,
• the caller has an unlisted number,
• the caller has suppressed the display
of his subscriber number, i.e. "calling
line identification restriction or CLIR",
• the call is made from a public phone
booth,
• the handset is not within the range of
the base station,
• you are operating the telephone
down-circuit from certain PBXs.
OUTSIDE CALLS
CALL REGISTER
Your telephone automatically saves the
subscriber numbers of the last ten callers.
An unanswered call is indicated on the dis-
play by the pictograms " " and " ".

The subscriber number or name last
received (if stored in the phone book)
is displayed.
2. Use "v" to scroll through the call
register.

The subscriber number is dialled.
EDITING THE CALL REGISTER
Select "OK" to edit the entry:
Pt Save entry in phone book
OK Transfer entry to last-number
redial
PL Delete entry
Note:
If a number is selected from the call regis-
ter, it is automatically deleted from the call
register and stored in the last-number re-
dial. Each new incoming subscriber
number deletes the oldest subscriber
number.
