Wanneer de maximale stijgsnelheid overschreden
wordt verschijnt het vijfde segment met daarin het
woord SLOW, waarop de huidige diepte begint te
knipperen. De overtreding kan een langdurige over-
schrijding van 10 m/min zijn, of een kortstondige
overschrijding van 12 m/min of meer.
Wanneer de SLOW waarschuwing verschijnt en u
het STOP-symbool ziet (Fig. 3.12) moet u direct
uw opstijging afremmen of onderbreken. Wan-
neer u een diepte van 6 meter bereikt dient u een
Verplichte Veiligheidsstop te maken (de STOP en
CEILING-symbolen zijn zichtbaar) en te wachten
totdat de waarschuwing verdwijnt (Fig. 3.13). U
mag niet opstijgen tot een diepte van minder dan
3 meter zolang de waarschuwing voor een Verplichte
Veiligheidsstop aanstaat.
WAARSCHUWING!
VOORKOM HET OVERSCHRIJDEN VAN DE
MAXIMALE STIJGSNELHEID! Te snelle opstij-
gingen vergroten de kans op lichamelijk letsel. U
dient altijd een Aanbevolen of Verplichte Vei
ligheid-
sstop te maken wanneer u de maximum stijg-
snelheid
overschreden heeft. Iedere overschrijding van de
maximum stijgsnelheid kan de berekeningen van de
duikcomputer voor de volgende duik(en) ongeldig
maken, en het RGBM model zal in deze situatie
uw geen-decompressielimieten voor alle volgende
herhalingsduiken verkorten.
Decompressieduiken3.3.5.
Wanneer de NO DEC TIME - oftewel uw geen-
decompressielimiet - nul minuten wordt zal de duik
een decompressieduik worden. Dit houdt in dat u
één of meerdere stops moet maken voordat u terug
kunt keren naar de oppervlakte. De NO DEC TIME
aanduiding op het display verdwijnt, en daarvoor in
de plaats verschijnt de ASC TIME aanduiding. De
maximum diepte van de duik wordt vervangen door
de CEILING aanduiding en een naar boven wijzend
pijltje (Fig. 3.15).
