4. ZUSATZFUNKTIONEN
4.1. PC-SCHNITTSTELLE
Mit Hilfe der PC-Schnittstelle können Sie die in Ihrem Suunto X6hr aufgezeichneten
Logbuchdateie in Ihren PC übertragen und dort speichern. Bei diesen Dateien kann
es sich um im Hiking modus gespeicherte Logbuchdateien handeln, um Wetter-
aufzeichnungen oder um im Chrono modus gespeicherte Dateien. Nach dem Daten-
transfer können Sie diese Informationen am PC mit Hilfe der Suunto Activity Manager-
Software organisieren, durchsehen und ergänzen.
Das PC-Schnittstellenkabel und der Suunto Activity Manager sind in der Packung Ihres
neuen Suunto X6hr mitgeliefert. Die Installationsanweisungen für die Software finden
Sie auf der Hülle der Suunto Activity Manager CD-ROM.
Das aktuellste Update des Suunto Activity Manager kann von www.suunto.com her-
untergeladen werden.
4.1.1. Datenübertragung
Schliessen Sie das Kabel an die serielle Schnittstelle Ihres PCs an. Stellen Sie sicher,
dass die Schnittstelle nicht von anderen Programmen verwendet wird. Sie können auch
den USB-Port mit einem seriellen/USB-Adapter verwenden.
Öffnen Sie den Suunto Activity Manager (SAM) und schliessen Sie das Kabel an
Ihren Suunto X6hr an. Der Datentransfermodus des Suunto X6hr wird automatisch
aktiviert. Dabei erscheint der Text “serial transfer” auf dem Display des Suunto
X6hr. Klicken Sie auf das Symbol “Wristop” in der linken oberen Ecke des SAM um
das Datenübertragungsfenster zu öffnen. Drücken Sie “Connect” im unteren Teil des
Fensters um die Liste der Logbuchdateien vom Armbandcomputer in das SAM-Fenster
