Om kalibreringen misslyckas fem gånger i rad, kan det hända att du befinner dig på en
plats med magnetkällor, exempelvis stora metallföremål, elledningar, högtalare och
elmotorer. Förflytta dig till en annan plats och gör ett nytt försök att kalibrera kompassen.
Du kan även ta ur batteriet och sätta i det igen. Se även till att du håller kompassen
horisontellt under kalibreringen. Kalibreringen kan misslyckas om enheten inte hålls
helt horisontellt.
Om det fortfarande inte går att kalibrera, kontakta då servicepersonal som auktoriserats
av Suunto.
Ställa in kompassens missvisning (declin)
Du kan kompensera skillnaden mellan rättvisande norr och magnetisk norr genom att
justera kompassens missvisning. Du hittar missvisningen på t.ex. topografiska kartor
över området där du bor.
Utför följande steg för att ställa in kompassens missvisning:
1. Bläddra till Compass i funktionsmenyn med pilknapparna och tryck på Suunto.
2. Bläddra till Declin i kompassmenyn med pilknapparna och tryck på Suunto. Den
första raden i nästa fönster aktiveras.
3. Välj rätt alternativ (Off/East/West) (av/öst/väst) med pilknapparna och tryck på
Suunto. Gradfältet aktiveras.
4. Ställ in antal grader med pilknapparna. Det ursprungliga värdet är antingen 0,0°
eller det värde som godkändes när du ställde in missvisningen senast. Tryck på
Suunto. Du återgår till kompassmenyn.
