7.2.1 Declinatie instellen

Declinatie is de hoek tussen het geografische en magnetische noorden en met

deze functie kunt u dat verschil corrigeren. Het is een interessant feit over

declinatie, dat de locatie van het magnetisch noorden elk jaar iets verandert.

U kunt de declinatie op een kaart vinden. Voor de nieuwste declinatie kunt u

op het internet zoeken (het Nationale geofysieke gegevenscentrum in de

Verenigde Staten levert zeer nauwkeurige informatie).

U kunt u referentiewaarde voor declinatie in MENU instellen. Om naar MENU te

gaan, drukt u gedurende 2 seconden op de knop [Mode]. In de rechter

bovenhoek knippert het menupictogram 2 keer.

In MENU drukt u op de knop [Down Light] en op [Mode] om naar COMPASS te

gaan. U kunt de declinatie uitschakelen of kiezen tussen Oosten (E) of Westen

(W) door op de knoppen [Up] of [Down Light] en daarna op [Mode] te drukken.

Daarna stelt u de declinatie van uw huidige locatie in door op de knoppen [Up]

of [Down Light] te drukken.
