Aire enriquecido nítrox
También conocido como nítrox o aire enriquecido = EANx. Aire con
cierta cantidad de oxígeno añadido. Las mezclas estándar son la EAN32
(NOAA Nitrox I = NN I) y EAN36 (NOAA Nitrox II = NN II).
ASC RATE
Abreviatura del inglés "ascent rate", velocidad de ascenso.
ASC TIME
Abreviatura del inglés "ascent time", tiempo de ascenso.
CNS
Abreviatura del inglés "central nervous system toxicity", toxicidad para el
sistema nervioso central (SNC).

tamente por la formación de burbujas de nitrógeno en los tejidos o los
fluidos corporales, como consecuencia de una descompresión controlada
inadecuadamente. Se suele conocer como "enfermedad de los buzos"
o "ED".
