El formato de posición es la forma en que se muestra en el dispositivo la
posición del receptor de GPS. Todos los formatos están relacionados con la
misma ubicación, sólo que la expresan de forma distinta. Para obtener
información acerca de cómo cambiar el formato de posición, consulte Capítulo
14 Ajuste de la configuración en la página 95.
Puede seleccionar el formato de entre las siguientes coordenadas:

la latitud y la longitud son las coordenadas más utilizadas y ofrecen tres
formatos distintos:

WGS84 Hd.d°
○
WGS84 Hd°m.m'
○
WGS84 Hd°m's.s
●
UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator) ofrece una presentación de posición
horizontal bidimensional.
●
MGRS (Military Grid Reference System) es una extensión de UTM y consta
de un indicador de cuadrícula, un identificador de cuadrados de 100 000
metros y una ubicación numérica.
Suunto Ambit también admite las siguientes cuadrículas locales:
