2.19.1 Log o or change user
Click on the Main Menu button in your control bar and select Quit > Log Out. This
terminates your session but the system remains active. To start a parallel session
as a dierent user, instead select the option Quit > Change User.
2.19.2 Restart or switch o the computer
Click on Quit and then select one of the following options:
Sleep
Only available if the computer supports energy management functions. Puts the
computer into sleep mode without logging the user o. All data and the session
data are stored in the main memory.
Hibernate
Only available if the computer supports power management functions. Puts the
computer into sleep mode without logging the user o. All data and session data
are stored on the hard drive before the system goes into hibernation. This protects
the data from being lost if a power failure occurs in the meantime.
Restart
Restarts the computer.
Shut down
Logs you out of the current session, then turns o the computer.
