Proceed as follows:

GNOME

Start Nautilus.

Click on File > Connect to Server.

Set the Service Type to ssh.

Enter the IP address and port of the remote computer (default: 22).

Specify the folder you want to open on the remote Computer.

Click Connect.

KDE

Start Dolphin.

Click on Network, Add Network. Re-attach the pane if it is not available with
View > Panels > Places.

Set the type of network to Secure shell (ssh).

Enter any name and the correct user, IP address, port (default: 22) and folder of
the remote Computer. It is also possible to create an icon for this connection by
enabling the checkbox below. This connection icon appears in the Network tab
in Dolphin.

Click on Save & Connect a dialog box opens and requests the password.
A new window containing the les of the remote computer will be opened.
