Children do not understand the dangers which could arise from using electrical appliances. Keep
children away from the appliance. Please be especially careful when using the appliance if children

Keep all packaging material, for example plastic bags and polystyrene pieces, out of reach of
children. Danger of suffocation.
Do not use the appliance if there is any sign of damage, if it has been dropped, or if it does not
work normally.
Check the appliance, power cable and plug regularly for visible signs of damage. Do not under any
circumstances use the appliance if you have noticed any damage. Do not try to repair the appliance
yourself.
Repairs should only be performed by a qualified professional.
Only use the appliance for the purpose for which it has been designed.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all appliance parts from the packaging and remove all padding material and inserts.
Place the fan base into the support. NOTE: First insert the tip and subsequently push the rear part
into the support. The ventilator base will audibly click into place into the support.
Unscrew the setting knob for the rotor blade and the retainer ring for the motor spindle and remove
both.
Now place the rear safety guard with the handle facing up onto the motor spindle and over the
screw thread of the previously removed retainer ring.
Replace the retainer ring onto the spindle and secure it in place.
Now place the rotor blade onto the motor spindle. Be careful when doing so to ensure the blade
and split pin of the spindle interlock with each other.
Now place the setting knob of the rotor blade Flügelrad onto the spindle and secure the same.
Now place the front safety guard over the rear safety guard. To do so, hang the metal bracket of
the front safety guard over the rear safety guard. The metal clips of the front safety guard can now
be pushed downwards to connect both safety guards.
USING THE APPLIANCE
1. Plug in the appliance.
2. The device incorporates the following functions:
Slow speed (1)
Medium speed (2)
(not for model No.: RT 23; which has only 2 speed settings)
Fast speed (3)
Rotation of the fan
Tilt of the fan
3. Press the speed button for your selected speed (1, 2, 3). The device will start based on the speed
setting made.
4. The rotation can be started and stopped using the “ON“ / “OFF“ switch (ON = the switch is
depressed / Still = the switch is raised). If you wish to change from the rotation to the still setting,
press the switch up and the fan remains in the new setting.
