EMPTYING THE DUST COLLECTOR
Emptying the dust collector
When the level of dust in the dust collector has reached the edg
e of the filter insert, the dust collector must be emptied
and cleaned. To maintain optimum suction power, it is better to empty and clean the dust collector regularly, before it
reaches this level.
• Disconnect the suction hose from the appliance.
• Press the dust collector cover release button and open the dust
collector cover.
• Hold the dust collector by the handle and remove by lifting upwards.
• Hold the dust collector over a bin and press the release button for the base of the dust collector, located on the
handle. The base of the dust collector opens, and the contents falls into the bin.
• The interior of the dust collector can then be cleaned using a dry cloth.
The filter insert inside the dust collector must also be cleaned regularly.
• After you have emptied the dust collector, remove the filter insert by pulling it upwards.
• Turn the cylindrical filter housing in an anti-clockwise direction and
remove from the lid housing.
• For cleaning, remove the filter from the filter housing. Carefully tap the
filter to remove any dust trapped in it.
• Then replace the filter in the filter housing.
