Operation
Operating voltage: 220-240V~, 50/60Hz, 400W
Please remove all packaging material and clean the glass bowl, the lid and the blade unit prior to first
use. Please follow the instructions from the segment “Cleaning”.
Place the appliance on a dry, clean and stable surface.
Take the motor unit and the lid off from the appliance. You can operate the blade unit with either two or
four blades. To separate the blade units and to remove the safety caps, turn the top blade unit clockwise
and separate it from the bottom blade unit. Carefully pull the safety caps up to remove them. If you wish
to use four blades, put the top blade unit back on the bottom blade unit and turn the top unit anti-
clockwise until the stop. Please make sure that the whole blade unit is positioned in the middle of the
glass bowl on the metal piece.
Fill the glass bowl with food you want to chop and place the lid as well as the motor unit on the glas
bowl. The max. capacity marked on the glass bowl cannot be exceeded. Please make sure that the lid
is positioned correctly. If the lid is not closed properly, the appliance cannot be turned on.
Please connect the appliance to the power outlet and press the push-button at the motor unit down to
chop the food. Wet and soft food can be chopped best by pressing down the push-button multiple, short
times. If you want to puree your food, cook them prior to chopping.
Please be aware that the appliance should not be operated continuously for longer than 20 seconds to
avoid an overheating of the motor. Take breaks to let the motor cool down.
In case of food sticking to the sides of the bowl, take a break and push the food using a spoon back to
the bowl mid. Do not use your fingers.
Once you are satisfied with the chopping result, disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and
remove the motor unit, lid and blade unit carefully. Now you can take your chopped food out of the
bowl.
Clean the appliance after each use.
Cleaning
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and let it cool before cleaning. Never immerse
the appliance and its electric parts in water to prevent electric shocks.
Wipe over the exterior of the appliance with a soft wet cloth and then wipe dry with a dry cloth.
Lid, glass bowl and blade unit can be washed with water and normal dish soap. Please let all parts dry
completely before putting them back into the appliance. Make sure that no water can enter the motor
unit. All parts of the appliance are not dishwasher safe.
When chopping food that contain strong pigments, e.g. carrots or beetroot, the pigments may color the
appliance’s plastic parts. In this case, clean the parts with a cloth and vegetable oil.
Please do not use any chemicals or other abrasive cleaning solvents to clean.
