Note: The Swing button is not available on the ADVANCE 7.0 Eco R290 and ADVANCE 9.0 Eco R290
models. However, the function can be used via the remote control.
Remote control:
o The same settings can be performed using the remote control as with the control panel. Please
note that the included remote control can be used with several Suntec models with different
configurations. For this reason, it is possible that some buttons on the remote control and their
respective functions may not be available for your specific model.
Unavailable functions: Turbo, Swing horizontal, Anti-F, Ele.H Eco, Health, iClean, Heat, Display
o iFeel (only via remote control): Pressing the iFeel button shows the room temperature on the
display.
o Powered by 2 x AAA batteries (not included)
Please verify before start-up that the outlet hose is secured correctly to the unit and connect the unit to
a suitable wall socket, however, do not use a multiple socket. Please press the On/Off button to switch
the unit on.
Timer function:
o Please press the timer button. When this indication light lights up, you can determine the time
of day for the activation and deactivation of the unit between 0-24 hours using the “+” and “-
buttons.
o When the unit is switched on, press this button to switch off the timer.
When the unit is switched off, press this button to switch on the timer.
Sleep mode:
o Please press the sleep mode button. In the sleep mode, the speed is low, the display is
darkened and the temperature increases (cooling mode) or sinks (heating mode) by 1 °C after
1 hour. After 2 hours, the temperature increases or sinks by an additional 1 °C and then remains
constant. After 8 hours, the previous temperature is resumed again. The sleep mode is stopped
automatically after 8 hours of continuous operation and the previous status is resumed again.
o The sleep mode cannot be activated in the ventilation mode.
Temperature setting:
o Please press the “+” and “-buttons simultaneously for at least 3 seconds to switch the
temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
o Every time the “+” or “-buttons are pressed, the temperature is increased or decreased by 1 °C
(1 °F). The temperature can be set between a range of 16 °C (60 °F) to 32 °C (90 °F).
Speed adjustment:
o Please press the speed button to set the ventilation speed between four levels:
(Auto mode – high – medium – low)
Operating mode cooling:
o Please press the operating mode button until the indicator light “COOLlights up.
o Please press the “+” and “-buttons to set your desired room temperature.
o Please select the ventilation speed with the speed button.
Operating mode dehumidification:
o Please press the operating mode button until the indicator light “DRYlights up.
o Please note: The fan speed and temperature cannot be adjusted in this mode. The pre-set
values are 25 °C (77 °F) and low speed.
o Please close the doors and windows to achieve an optimal dehumidification.
Operating mode ventilation:
o Please press the operating mode button until the indicator light “FANlights up.
o Please select the ventilation speed with the speed button.
o The temperature cannot be set in this mode.
Filter cleaning:
o After approx. 250 operating hours, the indicator light will light up as a notification that the dust
filter must be cleaned.
o Please switch off the unit and follow the instructions provided in the chapter “Cleaning”.
o Please reinsert the cleaned filter in the unit and press the filter button to reset the operating
hours countdown.
Oscillation:
o Please press the oscillation button in order to activate or deactivate the automatic vertical
movements of the fins.
Drainage:
Several possibilities for draining are available:
o Please remove the plug on the upper drainage opening in the dehumidification mode. Connect
the drainage hose to the opening and allow the water to drain. Please keep the drainage hose
straight. (See Fig. 5)
o Please remove the plug on the pump drainage opening. Connect the drainage hose to the
