13.6 Voorbeelden SID's te gebruiken met de Omni
De Omni is compatibel met zes soorten SID's.
1. Joystick en gebruikersschakelaar
2. Vijf-schakelaar en gebruikersschakelaar
3. Drie-as proportioneel en gebruikersschakelaar
4. Drie-as schakelaar en gebruikersschakelaar
5. Zuig en Blaas module en gebruikersschakelaar
6. Enkele schakelaar scanner
Met de gebruikersschakelaar kan worden gewisseld tussen
profielen en modes, hij biedt een noodstopfunctie en hij kan de
Omni in de slaapstand zetten. De meeste SID types kunnen ook
gebruikt worden zonder een gebruikersschakelaar.
WAARSCHUWING:
Sunrise Medical adviseert om, indien mogelijk, gebruik te
maken van een “normally-closed” schakelaar. Indien er geen
gebruik gemaakt wordt van een gebruikersschakelaar, of
wanneer er een “normally-open” schakelaar wordt gebruikt,
is dit de verantwoordelijkheid van de medische zorgverlener.
Sunrise Medical accepteert geen aansprakelijkheid voor
welke schade dan ook voortvloeiend uit het niet gebruiken
van een gebruikersschakelaar, of een niet-“normally-closed”
gebruikersschakelaar.
13.7 Joystick & Gebruikersschakelaar (Fig. 13.2)
Hieronder wordt verstaan de toepassing van kin- of
voetbediening, of zwaar/licht bedienbare joysticks.
Het apparaat bevat een PG Drives Technology of Flightlink type
inductieve joystick verbonden met de Omni via de 9-pins D-type
aansluiting. Aanvullend is een gebruikersschakelaar nodig,
verbonden met de Omni via de 3,5 mm /1/8” jack contact.

Hiertoe behoren bijvoorbeeld de Tash Penta schakelaars of
de Buddyknoppen, of producten van ASL en Switch-it.
Dit apparaat bevat 4-richting schakelaars en één
gebruikersschakelaar verbonden met de Omni via de
9-pins D-type aansluiting. Aanvullend moet een “normally-
closed” gebruikersschakelaar worden verbonden via het
3,5 mm /1/8” jack contact. Deze schakelaar, hoewel qua
functie identiek aan de vijfde schakelaar invoer op de 9-pins
D-type aansluiting, is nodig om een optimaal functionerend
noodstopsysteem te verschaffen.
13.9 Drie-as proportionele joystick en
gebruikersschakelaar (Fig. 13.4)
Hiertoe behoren bijvoorbeeld hoofdbedieningsmechanismes
uitgerust met een joystick.
Het apparaat bevat een PG Drives Technology of Flightlink

D-type aansluiting. Aanvullend is een gebruikersschakelaar
