6.2 Gebruik van het bedieningssysteem
Controleer of het bedieningssysteem goed is bevestigd en
of de joystick zich in de juiste positie bevindt (Fig. 6.2). De
hand of arm waarmee u de joystick bedient, moet worden
ondersteund, bijvoorbeeld door het armkussen van de
rolstoel. Gebruik de joystick niet als de enige ondersteuning
voor uw hand en arm. Door bewegingen en stoten van de
rolstoel kunt u de controle over de stoel verliezen.
Rijtechniek
Het bedieningssysteem interpreteert de bewegingen die u
maakt met de joystick en zorgt voor overeenstemmende
beweging van uw rolstoel. De bediening van de rolstoel is
gemakkelijk en eenvoudig, omdat het systeem gebruik maakt
van proportionele bediening. Dit is vooral nuttig als u nog
geen ervaring hebt. Een populaire methode is om eenvoudig
de joystick te bewegen in de richting waar u naar toe wilt
(Fig. 6.3). De rolstoel volgt de beweging die u met de joystick
maakt.
Hoe verder u de joystick wegduwt uit het midden, hoe sneller
de rolstoel rijdt. De rolstoel komt tot stilstand wanneer u de
joystick loslaat.
Het intelligente snelheidsbedieningssysteem minimaliseert de
effecten van hellingen en verschillende soorten ondergrond
op de snelheid.
Langzame of moeizame beweging
Als de rolstoel niet op volle snelheid rijdt of niet snel genoeg
reageert terwijl de accu goed opgeladen is, controleer dan
de ingestelde maximale snelheid (Fig. 6.4). Als het probleem
niet wordt opgelost door aanpassing van de instelling van de
snelheid, kan er mogelijk sprake zijn van een ongevaarlijke
storing. Neem contact op met uw dealer.
