5.8 Duwen van de rolstoel
De rolstoel kan verplaatst worden door deze te duwen. Hiertoe
moeten de motoren via een vrijloophendel ontkoppeld zijn. Deze
funce is ontwikkeld voor begeleiders van rolstoelgebruikers en
funconeert tevens als noodhendel voor vrijloop.
De vrijloophendel kent 2 posies
1. Om met de rolstoel te rijden. (Fig. 5.6).
Posie 'Rijden': Draai de hendel zodanig dat deze aan de kant van
het aandrijfwiel naar boven wijst.
2. Om de motoren te ontkoppelen: (Fig. 5.7 - Fig. 5.8).
Posie 'Duwen': Draai de hendel zodanig dat deze aan de kant van
het aandrijfwiel naar beneden wijst.
GEVAAR!
• De vrijloophendel mag uitsluitend door de begeleider worden
bediend en nooit door de gebruiker.
• Een gebruiker mag nooit zonder toezicht worden achtergelaten
als de rolstoel in de stand 'Duwen' staat.
• Zet de schakelaar nooit op een helling in de posie 'Duwen'. Als
de vrijloophendel is ingesteld op 'Duwen', is de automasche
parkeerrem gedeacveerd. Hierdoor kan de rolstoel van een
helling afrijden.
• De automasche parkeerrem funconeert alleen als de
vrijloopschakelaar in de posie 'Rijden' staat.
• Wanneer de rolstoel niet meer wordt geduwd, moet de
vrijloophendel direct in de posie 'Rijden' worden gezet.
• Om het systeem handmag voort te duwen, moeten de
motorremmen worden ontkoppeld.
• De motorremmen mogen uitsluitend worden geacveerd of
gedeacveerd als de stroom naar het systeem is uitgeschakeld.
• Verzeker u ervan dat u het systeem volledig onder controle
hebt wanneer u de motorremmen ontkoppelt. Nadat u de
motorremmen hebt ontkoppeld, hee het systeem geen
remmen.
• Verzeker u ervan dat de rolstoel op een vlakke ondergrond
staat voordat u de motorremmen ontkoppelt.
• Duw de rolstoel uitsluitend voorwaarts door middel van de
duwhandvaen. Ze bieden u veilige punten om de achterkant
van de rolstoel vast te houden en een val of achterwaartse
kanteling te voorkomen.
• Controleer of de grepen van de duwhandvaen niet draaien of
van de buizen afglijden.
