Installation du caisson de
ventilation
Si vous n’avez pas choisi cette option,
passez au chapitre suivant.
Le caisson de ventilation permet de
raccorder des gaines qui amènent l’air
ambiant des endroits les plus éloignés
de la pièce où est installé le foyer ou de
pièces contigües [schéma 3].
Le caisson de ventilation n’est pas
obligatoire ; si on ne l’installe pas, le
ventilateur, logé dans un espace sous le
foyer, prélèvera l’air ambiant à proximité,
au travers de grilles à prévoir.
Le caisson de ventilation doit être fixé
par vis au plateau. Il peut s’installer de 2
manières :
- il peut faire office de socle pour le foyer.
- suspendu au plateau de prépose (lui-
même posé sur la maçonnerie ou sur le
support réglable),

foyer
- Déterminer l’emplacement exact du
caisson (qui déterminera lui-même
celui du foyer !) Une croix découpée
dans le fond du caisson indique
l’aplomb du centre du conduit de
fumée. [photo 4]
La face avant du caisson se trouvera
141 mm en retrait par rapport à la
face avant du foyer [schéma 5].
Les prédécoupes de petit diamètre
doivent se trouver vers l’avant du
foyer.

Installatie van de
ventilatiekast
Indien u deze optie niet hebt gekozen,
gaat u over naar het volgende hoofdstuk.
De ventilatiekast maakt het mogelijk
kokers aan te sluiten die omgevingslucht
aanvoeren vanuit de verste uithoeken van
de kamer waar de haard is geïnstalleerd
of vanuit aangrenzende ruimtes.
De ventilatiekast is niet verplicht ;
indien men deze niet installeert, zal de
ventilator, ondergebracht in een ruimte
onder de haard, de omgevingslucht in
de nabijheid onttrekken via roosters die
moeten worden voorzien.
De ventilatiekast moet door middel van
schroeven aan de bodemplaat worden
bevestigd. Dit kan op 2 manieren
gebeuren :
- ze kan als sokkel dienen voor de
haard.
- opgehangen aan de bodemplaat
(die zelf op het metselwerk of op de
verstelbare steun is aangebracht)
De ventilatiekast draagt de haard
- Bepaal de exacte plaats van de
ventilatiekast (die zelf die van
de haard zal bepalen !). Een
uitgesneden kruis in de bodem van
de ventilatiekast duidt de loodrechte
stand aan van het midden van het
rookkanaal [foto 4].
De voorkant van de ventilatiekast
zal zich 141 mm meer achteraan
bevinden ten opzichte van de
voorkant van de haard [schema 5].
De vooruitsnijdingen met een
kleine diameter moeten zich aan de
voorkant van de haard bevinden.

Se non è stata scelta questa soluzione,
passare al capitolo successivo.
Il cassone di ventilazione permette di
collegare i condotti di derivazione d’aria
ambiente a partire dalle zone più distanti
del locale dove si trova il focolare o a
partire da locali attigui.
Non è assolutamente necessario installare
il cassone di ventilazione; se non si
installa, il ventilatore situato sotto il
focolare preleverà l’aria ambiente nelle
vicinanze, attraverso prese da prevedere.
Il cassone di ventilazione deve essere
fissato alla piastra a mezzo viti. Si può
installare in due modi :
- oppure può fungere da basamento
per il focolare.
- appeso alla piastra di pre-posa (che
poggia sulla muratura o sul supporto
regolabile),
Il cassone di ventilazione sostiene il
focolare
- Determinare l’esatta ubicazione del
cassone (che determinerà a sua volta
l’ubicazione del focolare). Una croce
ritagliata sul fondo del cassone indica
l’appiombo del centro della canna
fumaria [foto 4].
La faccia anteriore del cassone si
troverà arretrata di 141 mm rispetto
alla faccia anteriore del focolare
[schema 5].
Le pre-sezioni di piccolo diametro
si devono trovare verso la parte
anteriore del focolare.
Instalación del cajón de
ventilación
Si no ha elegido esta opción, pase al
capítulo siguiente.
El cajón de ventilación permite unir los
conductos que aportan el aire ambiente
desde los puntos más alejados de la
habitación donde está instalado el hogar,
o desde habitaciones contiguas.
El cajón de ventilación no es
estrictamente necesario ; si no se instala,
el ventilador, alojado en un espacio bajo
el hogar, captará el aire ambiente de la
proximidad a través de rejillas que deben
preverse para ello.
El cajón de ventilación debe fijarse a la
placa con tornillos. Se puede instalar de
dos maneras :
- Puede actuar como zócalo para el
hogar.
- Suspendido de la placa de soporte
(la cual está colocada sobre la
mampostería o sobre el soporte
regulable)
El cajón de ventilación soporta el hogar
- Determine la colocación exacta del
cajón (que a su vez determinará
la situación del hogar). Una cruz
recortada en el centro del cajón debe
estar a plomo del centro del conducto
de humos [foto 4].
La cara delantera del cajón debe
encontrarse a 141 mm más atrás que
la cara delantera del hogar
[esquema 5].
Los cortes de pequeño diámetro
deben estar hacia la parte delantera
del hogar.
- Deje libres las aberturas para el paso

capítulo seguinte.
A caixa de ventilação permite a união

A caixa de ventilação não é obrigatória.
Se esta não for instalada, o ventilador,
instalado num espaço por baixo do
recuperador, capturará o ar ambiente
nas proximidades através das grelhas
previstas para esse efeito.
A caixa de ventilação deve ser
aparafusada à placa. Pode-se instalar de
duas maneiras :
- pode servir de base para o
recuperador.
- suspensa na parede de instalação (que
está fixo na alvenaria ou num suporte
regulável),

- Determine o lugar exacto da caixa
(que determinará, por sua vez, o lugar
do recuperador !).
Uma cruz recortada no fundo da caixa
indica o centro da conduta de fumo.

A parte frontal da caixa deve ficar
recuada 141 mm em relação à parte
frontal do recuperador [esquema 5].
Os pré-cortes de pequeno diâmetro
devem encontrar-se na parte da frente
do recuperador.

Where this option has not been selected,

The ventilation box allows the connection
of ducts which feed ambient air from
remote areas of the room containing the
stove or from adjacent rooms.
The ventilation box is not mandatory ;
when it is not fitted, the ventilator fan is
placed in a space under the stove and will
draw nearby ambient air through vents to
be provided.
The ventilation box must be screwed on
to the plate. It can be fitted in two ways :
- it can serve as a base for the stove.
- suspended from the pre-fitting plate
(which is resting on the masonry or
on the adjustable support),
The ventilation box supports the stove.
- Determine the exact position of the
box (which in turn will determine that
of the stove !)
A cross cut in the bottom of the box
is plumb with the centre of the flue.

The face of the box will stand back
141 mm from the face of the stove
[diagram 5].
The small diameter cut-outs should
come towards the front of the stove.
