1. Securing the appliance to the wall
Each installation is unique to the property so it is not possible
to give details to suit every setting. The installation must comply
with Building Regulations and be made using "best practice"
construction methods.
1.1 Take care when installing the appliance. Careless
handling and use of tools can damage the finish and/or
area.
1.2 Select and fit the required flue option, see PM1305,
Installation Instructions, Section 2 .
WARNING:
This appliance can weigh up to 154kg.
The manufacturer has designed this appliance to
attach to a masonry wall and all xings supplied
reect this. The Fixing points must be located over
brick and not into mortar. Use appropriate xings.
1.3 Position the wall mounting bracket in the required location.
1.4 Mark the hole positions on the wall using the bracket as a
template.
Ensure that the upper edge of the bracket is horizontal and
the arrow is pointing up.
If possible, prioritise the outer most xing points in each
corner position, see Diagram 6.
NOTE: Fixing points must not be located in mortar, only x
into brick.
NOTE: To position the bottom of the wall bracket
measure the distance from the oor level and using a
spirit level draw a line 25mm higher than the intended
position of the bottom of the appliance.
6
1.5 Drill the xing positions marked at ø8mm x 75mm deep (see
Diagram 9), ensuring that the holes are perpendicular to the
