Portalima
N Usare il portalima
Affilare a mano le catene solo usando un
portalima (a richiesta; ved. tabella
"Attrezzi per affilatura”). I portalima
hanno riferimenti per l’angolo di
affilatura.
Usare soltanto lime speciali per catene!
Le altre lime non sono adatte né per la
forma né per il tipo di taglio.
Controllo degli angoli
Calibro STlHL per lima (a richiesta; ved.
tabella "Attrezzi per affilatura") – un
attrezzo universale per controllare gli
angoli di affilatura e di spoglia anteriore,
la distanza del limitatore di profondità, la
lunghezza del dente, la profondità della
scanalatura, e per pulire la scanalatura e
i fori di entrata dell’olio.
Affilatura corretta
N Staccare la spina di rete
N Scegliere gli attrezzi per affilatura
secondo il passo della catena
N se occorre, bloccare la spranga in
morsa
N per tirare ancora la catena, tirare lo
scudo fino al manico tubolare: il
freno catena è sbloccato. tenere lo
scudo in questa posizione – il freno
a inerzia è sbloccato
N affilare spesso, asportare poco –
per la semplice ravvivatura di norma
sono sufficienti da due a tre passate
di lima
N Guida della lima: orizzontale (ad
angolo retto rispetto al fianco della
spranga) rispettando gli angoli
indicati – secondo i riferimenti sul
portalima – applicare il portalima sul
tetto del dente e sul limitatore di
profondità
N limare solo dall’interno verso
l’esterno
N la lima morde solo all’andata –
sollevarla al ritorno
N non limare le maglie di unione e di
guida
N girare a intervalli regolari un po’ la
lima per evitare un consumo
unilaterale
N togliere la bavatura con un pezzo di
legno duro
N controllare gli angoli con il calibro
I denti devono essere tutti di lunghezza
uguale.
In caso di lunghezze diverse, anche le
altezze sono disuguali; ne conseguono
un funzionamento duro e incrinature
della catena.
N Rettificare tutti i denti alla lunghezza
del dente più corto – è preferibile
affidare l’operazione a un
rivenditore che disponga di
affilatore elettrico
