: Quite la cubierta de la rueda den-
tada, la cadena y la barra guía.
: Suelte el freno de cadena:
Tire del protector de la mano hacia
el mango delantero.
Sustituya la rueda dentada después
de usar dos cadenas Oilomatic.
Sustituya antes si las marcas de
desgaste en la rueda dentada tie-
nen una profundidad mayor que
aproximadamente 0,5 mm
(0.02 pulg), ya que esta condición
acorta la vida útil de la cadena.
Puede usar un calibrador ( “Acceso-
rios especiales”) para verificar la
profundidad de las marcas de des-
gaste en las ruedas dentadas.
Es mejor usar dos cadenas en rota-
ción con una rueda dentada.
Para asegurar el funcionamiento
correcto del freno de cadena, use única-
mente ruedas dentadas para cadenas
originales de STIHL.
: Utilice un destornillador para quitar
la pinza en "E" (1).
: Retire la arandela (2) y la rueda
dentada tipo llanta (3).
: Examine las estrías en el tambor del
embrague (4). Si las marcas de des-
gaste son excesivas, instale un tam-
bor nuevo.
: Retire el tambor del embrague o la
rueda con dientes rectos (5) y la
caja de cojinetes de aguja (6) del
cigüeñal.

: Limpie la caja de cojinetes de aguja
y la punta del cigüeñal y lubrique
con grasa STIHL ( “Accesorios
especiales”).
: Empuje la caja de cojinetes de
aguja sobre el cigüeñal.
: Después de instalar el tambor del
embrague o la rueda con dientes
rectos, gírelo aprox. una vuelta para
activar el impulsor de la bomba de
aceite.
: Instale la rueda dentada tipo llanta
con las cavidades orientadas hacia
afuera.
: Vuelva a colocar la arandela y la
pinza en E en el cigüeñal.
