Dieses STEINEL-Produkt ist mit größter Sorg-

falt hergestellt, funktions- und sicherheitsgeprüft

nach geltenden Vorschriften, und anschließend

einer Stichprobenkontrolle unterzogen. STEINEL

übernimmt die Garantie für einwandfreie Be-

schaffenheit und Funktion.

Die Garantiefrist beträgt 36 Monate und beginnt

mit dem Tag des Verkaufs an den Verbraucher.

Wir beseitigen Mängel, die auf Material- oder

Fabrikationsfehlern beruhen. Die Garantielei-

stung erfolgt durch Instandsetzung oder Aus-

tausch mangelhafter Teile nach unserer Wahl.

Eine Garantieleistung entfällt für Schäden an

Verschleißteilen, sowie für Schäden und Mängel,

die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung oder

Wartung auftreten. Weitergehende Folgeschäden

an fremden Gegenständen sind ausgeschlossen.

Die Garantie wird nur gewährt, wenn das un-

zerlegte Gerät mit kurzer Fehlerbeschreibung,

Kassenbon oder Rechnung (Kaufdatum und

Händlerstempel), gut verpackt, an die zutref-

fende Servicestation eingesandt wird.

This photoelectric lighting controller measures

ambient brightness and automatically switches

the light ON at dusk and automatically OFF

again as programmed with the various switching

options. The photoelectric lighting controller is

quickly installed and ready for operation

wherever light is needed, whether at the front

door, on the patio or by the carport.

The NightMatic 5000-2 PF can be used for

switching independent devices or systems

on and off from the floating output.

Dear customer,

Safety warnings

■ Disconnect the power supply before attempting

any work on the unit.

■ During installation, the electrical wiring being

connected must be dead. Therefore, switch

off the power first and use a voltage tester

to check that the power supply is discon-

nected.

■ Installation of the photoelectric lighting

controller involves work on the mains power

supply. This work must therefore be carried

out professionally in accordance with applic-

able national wiring regulations and electrical

operating conditions. (

■ When using NightMatic version 5000-2 PF,

please note that sensor may be supplied

from a different power circuit. In this case,

both power circuits must be disconnected

from the power supply.

Please familiarise yourself with these instructions

before attempting to install the sensor light

because prolonged reliable and trouble-free

operation will only be ensured if it is fitted

properly.

The site of installation should be selected so

that daylight is able to fall onto the light sensor.

The mains supply lead is a 3-core cable.

L = Phase

N = Neutral conductor

PE = Protective-earth conductor

If the rubber seal is damaged, the cable entry

openings must be sealed with an M 16 or

M 20 (at least IP 54) double seal cable gland.

A condensation hole is indicated next to the

rubber seal. This must be opened if necessary.

Note on ceiling mounting: A water drainage

hole is indicated on the faceplate opposite

the sensor opening. This must be opened if

necessary.
