Instrument Parameters
Reverb
Reverb allows you make it sound like your music was recorded in a large hall or
cathedral. The Mix parameter determines how much original signal you hear versus
the affected signal. Bypass lets you compare the original sound and the reverb sound.
PreDelay controls how much time passes before the reverb is applied. Time
determines the length of the reverb, thus creating a sense of space. Higher Diffusion
values lead to a smoother sound, while lower values lead to a clearer sound.
“Damping - High Amount” affects the decay time of high frequencies. Lower values
cause high frequencies to decay quicker. Values above 100
% cause high frequencies
to decay slower than mid-range frequencies. “Damping - Low Amount” affects the
decay time of low frequencies. Lower values cause low frequencies to decay quicker.
Values above 100
% cause low frequencies to decay slower than mid-range
frequencies.
StereoEnhancer
StereoEnhancer allows you to spread out your project’s stereo image. This can create
a greater sense of space for crowded mixes. Width determines how wide the image is
spread.
Instrument Parameters
In order to access the instrument parameters, you first have to add a VST 3 track and
select an instrument.
Prologue
Prologue is a synthesizer that works like classic analog synthesizers. Cutoff determines
the cutoff frequency of the signal. Resonance adds a ringing type effect. Attack adjusts
how quickly you hear the initial hit of a note. Release determines how long a note is held
once it has been released. Drive boosts the signal, making it louder. “LFO Frequency” is
used to modulate and change the signal. “LFO Level” raises or lowers the volume of the
LFO (low frequency oscillator). FX controls how much the built-in effect of the
instrument is heard.
HALion Sonic SE
This instrument is described in detail in the separate PDF document “HALion Sonic
SE”.
Groove Agent One
