Nivel 1 Mantenimiento del calor.

Preparativos para la barbacoa
Antes de elaborar los alimentos, es conveniente untar las parrillas con un poco de aceite
para que los alimentos no se peguen y se les pueda dar mejor la vuelta. Precaliente el
aparato durante 5 ó 10 minutos a plena potencia antes de poner los alimentos sobre la
parrilla. Los alimentos deben estar completamente descongelados antes de asarlos.
Las parrillas no deben taparse nunca con papel de aluminio, porque esto impediría la
disipación del calor del calefactor.
No cortar los alimentos nunca encima de la parrilla, porque ésta se estropearía.
Limpieza y cuidado
• Limpiar el aparato después de cada uso.
• Para ello, dejar que el aparato se enfríe un poco, ya que se limpia mejor cuando todavía
está tibio.
• No sumerja el aparato nunca en agua.
• Extraer las parrillas, presionando ligeramente sobre los muelles laterales, y limpiarlas
con un poco de jabón lavavajillas. Para quitar las incrustaciones rebeldes, untarlas con
un poco de aceite y dejar reposar durante 5 minutos. A continuación, lavar las parrillas
nuevamente. Limpiar el exterior del aparato con un trapo húmedo. No utilizar productos
abrasivos. Al limpiar la bandeja recogegrasas, comprobar que su contenido se haya
enfriado.
