Reiniging en onderhoud

∙ Haal altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact voor het reinigen.

∙ Laat het apparaat afkoelen tot kamertemperatuur.

∙ Dompel het elektrische gedeelte niet in water.

∙ De pan kan worden gereinigd in warm water met normaal af-

wasmiddel.

∙ Hygiëne : In het geval dat de vacuum zakjes lekken tijdens het

kookproces en voedsel direct in contact komt met het water

dient u het gehele apparaat te reinigen.

Om de Sous-Vide te reinigen zoals beschreven:

∙ Schoonmaak benodigdheden:

∙ 1 pan van tenminste 18 cm hoog met diameter van 25 cm

∙ 1 liter azijn (geen schoonmaakazijn)

Als gevolg van mineralen in ons leidingwater kan er kalkvorming

voorkomen op de verwarmingselementen en de behuizing van

het apparaat na het verwarmen van water. De kalkvorming heeft

een negatieve invloed op de verwarmingscapaciteit en het uiter-

lijk van het apparaat. Daarom moet het apparaat worden gerei-

nigd na elk 20-ste gebruik of na 200 uur gebruik.

∙ 1. Plaats de SV 50 in de pan. Vul met water aan tot de ‘Min’

markering. Voeg de azijn toe (attentie: grondig spoelen met

water wanneer er chemische brandwonden optreden, veroor-

zaakt door azijn. Als het oog rood blijft, pijn doet, traant en

gevoelig voor licht is dan is medisch advies nodig).

∙ 2. Zet het apparaat aan en stel de temperatuur in op 80°C en

de timer op 3 uur.

∙ 3. Controleer het resultaat, als de kalkvorming niet volledig is ver-

wijderd, herhaal dan stap 2. Als de kalkvorming volledig is verwijderd,

reinig dan met schoon water. Laat het apparaat drogen voordat deze

wordt opgeborgen.
