nedfatshouldbemeltedslowlyatatemperaturebellow130°C.
Important:Nevermixfatandoiltogether.Excessivefoamcanoccur.
Theoillevelcanbeseenattheinsideoftheoiltank.Theremustbenomoreoilthanthemax
levelandnotlessoilthantheMin.level.(pleasecheckthemarkingattheinsideoftheoiltank).

Warm hardened fat inside the fryer:
Putthethermostatknobtomax130°Candmeltthehotfatslowly.Keepthelidclosedtoavoid
anysplashes.
Important:Ifahightemperaturewaschosentomelthardenedfatortheappliancewasusedwith
notsufcientfat,theoverheatprotectioncanbereleased.Whenthishappens,theappliance
cannotbeusedanymoreandmustbereturnedforservice.

Frying:
• Puttheoilintheappliance
• Plugintheappliance.
• Putthethermostatto“min”positionandswitchtheapplianceon.
• Adjustthethermostattotheintendedtemperature.
• Thetemperaturecontrollightison.Aftertheintendedtemperatureisachieved(ca5-7min)the
lightis“off”
• Insertthefryingbasketcarefullyandloweritslowlyintothehotoil.Donotoverllthefrying
basket.
• Closethelidtoavoidsplashes.
• Thetemperaturecontrollightison,theapplianceisheating.
• Thelargebasketissuitableforshorsteaksorlargerquantities.Thesmallportionbaskets
arefordifferentfoods.
Danger of splashes!
Toavoidsplashesorfoamingofthefatonlyusefoodwhichisnottoowet(drythefoodwithcloth,
removeicefromthefoodetc.).Insertthefoodslowlyintothefryer.Ifthefatisfoamingexces-
sively,liftthebasketseveraltimes.Nevercarrythefryerwhenthereishotoilinside.Dangerof
burns!Alwayscooldownthefryerbeforemovingit.
Partsoftheappliance,e.g.theupperedgeoftheoiltankorthesteamescapingfromthefryer
canbeveryhot.
Takecarethatnobodycanripatthepowercordandpulltheappliancefromthetable(especially
children).Toavoidthisattachthepowercord,e.g.tothelegofthetable.
