In the rare ev ent that the vehicle to be started has a Positiv e Grounded System (positive batt er y terminal is connected to chassis), r eplace steps 4a
and 4b above with steps 5a and 5b , then proceed t o step 6.
5a. Connect negative (–) black clamp t o vehicle battery ’ s negative terminal .
5b . Connect positive (+) red clamp t o vehicle chassis or a solid, non-moving , metal vehicle component or body part. Never clamp dir ec tly

6. When clamps ar e connected properly , turn the Jump-Star ter P ower Swit ch to ON.
7. T urn ON the ignition and crank the engine in 5-6 second bursts until engine starts.
8. T urn the Jump -Starter P ower Switch back t o the OFF position.
9. Disconnect the negative (–) engine or chassis clamp first , then disconnect the positive (+) battery clamp.

Make sure the USB P ower Button is in the off position when the unit is being r echarged or stored.
Some household USB-powered electronics will not oper ate with this unit.

The built-in 12 v olt DC compressor is the ultimate compr essor for all vehicle tires , trailer tires and recr eational inflatables. The

instructions carefully before using this unit .
CHARGING/RECHARGING
Lead-acid batt eries require r outine maintenance to ensure a full char ge and long battery life. All batteries lose ener gy from self-
discharge ov er time and more rapidly at higher temper atures. Therefore , batteries need periodic charging to r eplace energy lost
through self-discharge. When the unit is not in frequent use, manufacturer r ecommends the battery be recharged at least ev er y
30 days.
Notes:
This unit is deliver ed in a par tially charged sta te – you must fully charge it upon purchase and befor e using it for the first time. Initial AC char ge should be
for 24 hours.
Make sure all other unit functions are turned off during r echarging, as this can slow the r echarging process.
