10.15 INTERCOM OPERATION
If you connect the two CMP25 RAM+ Microphone or VH-310 Handset to the
Phantom PS2000, you may communicate between the both CMP25 RAM+
Microphones or VH-310 Handset.
10.15.1 Communication
1. On the RAM+ mic, press and hold down the
[
DW
(
IC
)]
key
until the channel number is changed to “IC” notation.
On the VH-310 Handset, press the
[
F
]
key, followed by the
[
5
(
IC
)]
key.
The Phantom PS2000 is changed to “INTERCOM” mode from the “Radio”
operation mode.
2. Press the PTT switch. “TALK” will be shown on the display.
NOTE: A warning beep will be emitted when the PTT switch
is pressed while the “LISTEN” notation is appeared.
3. Speak slowly and clearly into the microphone, hold the mi-
crophone about 1/2 inch away from your mouth.
4. When finished, release the PTT switch.
5. To exit the “INTERCOM” mode and return to “Radio” opera-
tion mode, press the
[
DW
(
IC
)]
key again on the RAM+ mic, or press the
[
F
]
key, followed by the
[
5
(
IC
)]
key on the VH-310 Handset.
10.15.2 Calling
Press and hold the
[
DW
(
IC
)]
key on the RAM+ mic or
[
5
(
IC
)]
key on the VH-310
Handset for one second when the “INTERCOM” operation is activated, a call-
ing beep is emitted twice from the transceiver speaker.
