Charging of the batteries in the charger
1. Plug the power supply unit into a 230 V socket.
2. Connect the power supply unit to the charger.
3. Switch off the radio sets!
4. Place the radio sets into the charging shaft.
The control lamps on the charger emit red light,
the batteries are now being charged.
The charging is terminated when the control
lamps turn off.
Remove the devices.
Note: Complete charging takes approximately 4 hours.
Charging via the socket on the side
You may also connect the power supply of the charger directly to the
socket on the bottom of the radio to charge the battery of one radio set:
1. Switch off the radio set!
2. Plug the power supply unit into a 230 V socket.
3. Connect the power supply unit to the socket on the bottom.
The battery symbol is blinking and the battery is now being charged.
The charging is terminated when the symbol stops blinking.
Disconnect the device.
Information on disposal of batteries
Used up batteries are not to be thrown into the domestic waste. Be
sure to observe the national disposal regulations and dispose used
up batteries (only if completely discharged) with the corresponding
collecting points. Insert the battery into a small plastic bag.
Energy management
The power consumption of this radio set is very small. If no signal is
received, the electronic battery stand-by mode is activated. If the
capacity of the batteries is too low, the radio set will emit an audio
warning that is repeated every 10 sec. Now you have to charge the
battery.
